Grape variety: Chardonnay 100%.
Vinification: grapes are harvested earlier to keep the natural acidity. The grape destalking is followed by a light maceration with the grape skins at controlled low temperature and subsequent soft pressing and static decantation. The clear must is inoculated with selected yeasts and the fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to enhance grapevine’s typical characteristics.
Refining: in stainless steel tanks for about 4-5 months before being bottled.
Alcohol content: 12,5% Vol.
Colour: pale straw yellow with green tinges.
Smell: delicate, fruity with prevalence of tropical fruits hints.
Wine glass: tulip-shaped glass.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C.
Gastronomic pairings: straw yellow in colour, the Chardonnay, with its distinctive processing, is a great wine for aperitifs and pizzas. Moreover, it marries perfectly with a great variety of dishes like raw shellfish, fish, seafood, first courses and poultry.
